Haji Lane’s not the only thing rockin’ Kampong Gelam / Arab Street this weekend!
Called Temasya Kampong Gelam Street Festival 2011, this 3 day festival is exactly what the name says – a music carnival that celebrates and showcases plenty of Malay music.
Close to 100 performances. Lots of cool acts from various genres. Lots of free shows that you can ‘plonk’ yourself at. And all these happening along & around the good streets of Kampong Gelam.
Traditional, modern, infusion – you name it they’d (probably) have it!
If you’ve no idea what to do today or this weekend, then come down in your streetwear best & chill out at the cool lanes of Kampong Gelam & Arab Street and enjoy the streets be ‘musical walkways’.
