Cool Stuff: Gap + O.I.C for “0% Plastic Bags”

This year, Gap marks Earth Day with the third consecutive collection of the 0% Plastic Bag – a reusable tote bag made with 100% unbleached cotton.

The 0% Plastic Bag initiative was started in 2009 to support the global green movement by encouraging customers to use this cotton tote bag in place of disposable plastic bags.

Buoyed by the success of the inaugural collection in 2009, Gap presents an interesting twist to this collection by introducing new designs of this iconic bag.

There are five new designs this year and it is the result of the partnership with five local digital illustrators – Anngee Neo, FleecircusGwee Yin Fei, Mindflyer and Miun.  Each illustrator was invited to reinterpret the original design of the bag while maintaining the “0% Plastic” tagline.

This limited edition collection is available at S$5 with purchase of any GAP merchandise.
