Butterflies in my stomach, Bees around my head.
Butterflies in my stomach, Bees around my head is an exhibition that comprises four installations of sound collages and large scale drawings.
Angie combines visual and audio to create a sensory experience for the viewers/listeners. As a multidisciplinary artist, Angie performs, draws, paints and sculpts. In this exhibition, she introduces new ways of seeing and understanding her work.
About the artist:
Born in 1979, Angie Seah is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Singapore. She graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology’s Bachelor of Arts where she majored in Sculpture.
She was also awarded a culture scholarship to Berlin from the Goethe institute in 2005. She has exhibited her works in South East Asia and did a series of artist residencies in Switzerland, Indonesia, Belgium and Romania. Since 2000, she has been exploring the medium of Sound Art in the area of vocal with actions.
