Femme Club

Catch two local female talents Ferry (Giants Must Fall’s Jean Low) and Shimona Kee as they take to the stage in their first performance together. With Ferry’s indie pop-rock vibe and Shimona’s melodious style, this singer/song writing duo is not to be missed. They will also be performing solo sets of their signature tunes.

Ferry (Giants Must Fall’s Jean Low)
Ferry is one who exists as a mystery, elusive; aloof, teasing the curiosity, changing the mind. Ferry(formerly Suitcase Heart), the solo project of Jean Low, lead singer and guitarist of popular local band Giants Must Fall, is the creative output of a very diverse, sometimes confused individual who just likes to make things look pretty and sound pretty.

Shimona Kee
Shimona hates writing bios. She also hates cold fries and standing in queue. What she does love however, is depicting the romance of everyday life in song.

Celebrating ordinary moments with her honest lyrics and catchy melodies, she sings stories about the rain, going to the gym, reading a novel, and yes of course the joys and heartbreaks of love. Vocally versatile and fiercely independent, Shimona accompanies herself on the guitar, piano, and ukulele, and is currently in the process of producing her first full-length originals album due end of 2011.
