Launched in 2001 by The Substation Moving Images, the festival aims to champion the short film format, increase its profile and encourage Singapore filmmakers to expand their horizons through exposure to international and Southeast Asian shorts.

This is an Esplanade Presents programme.

Changing Hues is originally a 3 piece acoustic band who came together to restyle the favorite tunes into their own unique acoustic color. From various diverse musical background and experiences, Robert(R&B, Soul and anything Divalicious), Jessica(True Blue Singer-Songwriter), Amos(Jazz Freak) the 3 members combined their different strengths into intimate, groovy, and tasty sounding of vocal harmonies, guitar, and piano.

Alice (Evelyn Maria Ng), unsure about her sexuality, is trapped between passion and moral between her family and friends. She frequently comes home late for dinner with her widower father (Vincent Tee) and 2 younger sisters (Janice Yeo and Cassevonrie Chia) due to her overtime at work. This makes her father very upset as he has made the daily family dinner compulsory and sees it as the only way to hold the family together. However, beneath the facade of kinship lie dark secrets and complex emotions ready to explode anytime, when keeping things hush may no longer be the way out.
