Lisa Ono is a popular Japanese bossa nova singer. She was born in São Paulo, Brazil. Lisa Ono is a singer-songwriter who plays the guitar. Her first album, Catupiry, was released in 1989. She hasn’t stopped recording since then, releasing one disc a year, mostly in Portuguese. In LISA ONO LIVE in Singapore 2010, she will perform songs from around the world with ‘Music Journey’ as the main theme in bossa nova arrangements. The concert will also feature songs from her latest album (releasing in Feb 2010) where Asia will be the theme and she will perform familiar tunes in local language.
