Barrio Fiesta is a 2-day event emulating the colourful and boisterous street festivals in the rustic towns of provincial Philippines. This weekend event will offer visitors a multi-faceted experiential journey into the Philippines’ rich and fascinating arts, entertainment and food culture. Locally, these fi estas are held to commemorate religious occasions, a place where the richest of local Filipino-Hispanic traditions thrive.

Singapore Things to Do Today - Haiti Haiti

HAITI HAITI
A Cafe Diplo Charity Concert In Support Of World Vision’s Haiti Earthquake Relief Efforts

This charity concert on Jan 30, 8pm at City Square Mall is organised by Cafe Diplo to raise funds in support of World Vision’s earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. Come support the cause. The people of Haiti need help, and they need it NOW. The concert’s free, and performers’ line-up excellent. Any donation amounts will be welcome and can be handed to World Vision staff at the event venue. You can also mail your cheques to World Vision.

Time: 2000H – 2200H

Venue: City Square Mall (Main Atrium, Level 1)

Admission: FREE – Donations Welcome!

GETTING THERE
Roads around City Square Mall are expected to be congested on Jan 30 because of Thaipusam celebrations that day. So come by train if you can; you would be going green and supporting a good cause at the same time. Take the North East Line to Farrer Park Station. Head to Exit I, which takes you into Basement 1 of City Square Mall.
