| AIR
Witness an AIR spectacular “Deep within the river, exists an extraordinary world— a world where time stood still and the river’s history is revealed. From the sky falls a solitary man, and the story of the Singapore River begins. The man sets off in a kaleidoscopic world populated by fantastical beings past and present. On this day, in this place of magic and possibilities, begins an inspired journey into life rediscovered.” Air is an aerial aquatic production of surrealism and theatrical romance. Inspired by the concept of the infinity of air and the elegance of water, it is a celebration of life. The show pays tribute to the river as a source of human life. Blending aerial acrobatics, dazzling choreography and whimsical characters, the show plunges the audience into a fantastical journey between dreams and reality. The name “Air”, orthographically speaking, refers to two elements, the matter air in English and water in Malay. Between East and West, strength and fragility, laughter and melancholy, Air explores themes of life and the rich diversity of Singaporean culture. Staged above and on the river surface, enjoy a breathtaking experience at AIR, a show that is open to public.
