The Script – Live in Singapore!
Singapore fans of The Script will be given a treat this April. Much lauded Irish band The Script will perform on April 12th at Fort Canning Park, in support of their second album Science and Faith.
The Script has established producers Danny O’Donoghue (keys and vocals), Mark Sheehan (guitar) and Glen Power (drums) with a knack of combining poignant lyrics with lush melodies. These Dubliners have captured the attention of fans worldwide.
Since the release of their 2008 self-titled debut album, they notched up a handful of hit singles, including ‘We Cry’, ‘Breakeven’ and ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’, with sales approaching 2 million globally. The band also opened stadium shows for industry legends U2 and Paul McCartney.
The lads have gone from being a local band and songwriters for hire, to taking on sold out arenas on their own world tour. Despite their meteoric rise, the band has remained refreshingly down to earth about their success.
Singapore will be the first stop, prior to Hong Kong, of the only two Asian legs on the tour.
